đź“” Psychedelics 101: Terms Everyone Should Know
Integration 🌀
Integration is the process of making sense of a psychedelic experience and weaving its insights into your daily life…
It’s not just about what happens during the journey—it’s about how you grow afterward.
Integration can look like journaling, therapy, meditation, nature walks, or even honest conversations with a trusted friend.
The key is reflection with intention!
Why it matters: Psychedelics can open the door, but integration is how you walk through it. Without it, even the most profound experience can fade into a memory without lasting change.
🛠️ Pro Tip: Start integrating immediately after your journey—while the insights are still fresh. Having a therapist, coach, or guide familiar with psychedelic integration can help you anchor breakthroughs into real transformation.

How Ibogaine Is Helping Veterans Recover from Brain Trauma…
For decades, traumatic brain injury (TBI) has been a complex and frustrating condition to treat—especially for veterans who return home carrying both visible and invisible wounds.
Traditional therapies often fall short, leaving individuals struggling with chronic symptoms like PTSD, depression, anxiety, and cognitive dysfunction.
But a promising new path is emerging—one that blends ancient plant medicine with modern neuroscience.
🔍️ The Stanford Breakthrough
In a groundbreaking 2024 study, Stanford University researchers explored the use of ibogaine, a psychedelic compound derived from the African shrub Tabernanthe iboga, to treat TBI in 30 U.S. Special Forces veterans.
This treatment took place in a specialized clinic in Mexico due to ibogaine’s Schedule I status in the U.S.
The results were nothing short of extraordinary…
Within just one month, participants experienced:
An 88% reduction in PTSD symptoms
An 87% decrease in depression
An 81% drop in anxiety
A remarkable improvement in memory, focus, and emotional regulation
A shift from mild-to-moderate disability to near full functional recovery
One veteran shared, “I was at the point of barely recognizing my own family. Now, I’ve regained my mental clarity and emotional connection.”
These numbers are astounding, and yet, so many people are unaware of the outcomes…
🧠How Ibogaine Heals the Brain
Ibogaine stimulates a process called neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to rewire and repair itself.
It boosts critical growth factors like Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF) and Glial Cell-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (GDNF) that supports neuronal healing, modulates serotonin and dopamine to stabilize mood, and interacts with opioid receptors to reduce emotional pain.
Together, these actions offer a potent reset to the damaged brain…
So how safe is ibogaine, you ask?
🛟 Safety and Efficacy of Ibogaine for Veterans
While ibogaine carries potential cardiac risks, the Stanford team paired it with magnesium to safely manage side effects.
*Note: Ibogaine should only be consumed in a legal manner under the supervision of a trained medical professional!
Minor issues like nausea and headaches were reported, but no serious complications occurred.
Beyond the science, the personal transformations speak volumes…
Veterans who had lost hope reported feeling emotionally reconnected, cognitively sharper, and physically relieved.
❤️‍🩹 For some, it was a life-saving intervention…
The road ahead involves continued research, regulatory advocacy, and expanding access.
But the message is clear: ibogaine represents a groundbreaking shift in how we treat brain injury and trauma.
As Dr. Nolan Williams, the study’s lead researcher, put it:
“We’re not just treating symptoms—we’re helping the brain to heal itself.”
At the intersection of ancient wisdom and cutting-edge science, ibogaine may be the catalyst for a new era in healing—and for many, a chance to reclaim the life that trauma once stole.
And while the research is compelling, we’re just scratching the surface of it’s true potential…

Challenging our beliefs and knowledge is essential for finding the truth, especially in a crowded space like plant medicine and psychedelics.
