đź“” Psychedelics 101: Terms Everyone Should Know
Lemon Tekking 🍋
Lemon Tekking is a method of consuming psilocybin mushrooms by soaking them in lemon juice for about 10–15 minutes before ingestion.
Some believe the acidity helps convert psilocybin to psilocin more quickly, potentially leading to a faster onset and stronger effects.
People often report a shorter, more intense experience. However, evidence is mostly anecdotal, so caution is advised!

The Three Levels of the Inner Healer
Written by Steve Elfrink

Hello, beautiful people!
As a guide in psychedelic therapy, I’ve journeyed with hundreds of courageous souls, witnessing the profound interplay among three core levels of healing:
The Body’s Wisdom
The Higher Self
Guidance from Source or God
Imagine these as tiers of a pyramid: the body grounding us to the earth, the mind as the middle tier of awareness, and a higher presence at the apex, pointing us toward the divine.
1. The Body’s Wisdom 🫶
At the base, Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy (PSIP) harnesses the enhanced emotional and sensory awareness from low-dose ketamine or cannabis to address trauma stored in the body.
“The body is the scorekeeper and the reservoir of trauma.”
This approach recognizes that healing emerges when we engage with physical sensations and learn to interpret their messages.
From my own experience, psycholytic doses of ketamine or cannabis helped me dive deeper into unresolved wounds, fostering a profound release and a renewed sense of wholeness.
2. The Higher Self ✨
Ascending to the mind, Internal Family Systems (IFS) helps us explore our internal parts—each aiming to protect and maintain balance.
By gently acknowledging these sub-personalities, we create space for our Higher Self, a core state of compassion and clarity.
“IFS is more than just a therapy; it’s a movement.”
In combining IFS with PSIP, I’ve experienced powerful breakthroughs…
While somatic work uncovers trauma in the body, IFS brings harmony to the mind’s fragmented parts, aligning them under the leadership of the Higher Self.
3. Guidance from Source or God đź’«
At the pyramid’s apex, we connect with an ineffable force that transcends individual identity.
Many report a profound sense of unity and belonging, which can radically shift one’s perspective on life.
“Psychedelics, used responsibly... would be for psychiatry what the microscope is for biology.” – Stanislav Grof
For me, glimpsing this divine source has been life-changing—instilling an unshakeable trust that I’m part of a greater whole.
This awareness continually renews my commitment to serve others…
đź’Ą Preparation and Integration
Psychedelic therapy involves more than the session itself…
Preparation clarifies intentions and creates a supportive environment, enhancing openness to the transformative process.
Afterward, integration ensures that insights take root.
Reflecting, journaling, or talking with a therapist weaves psychedelic discoveries into daily life, inspiring lasting change.
đź’¨ Bringing It All Together
By embracing these three levels—body, mind, and divine guidance—you can unlock a holistic pathway to healing.
PSIP shows us how the body holds vital clues to trauma, IFS fosters internal harmony, and a connection to Source expands our perspective beyond the personal self.
As you embark on or deepen your journey with psychedelics, may you find renewed courage to delve inward, the wisdom to learn from what you discover, and the grace to transform in the light of your own inner healer…
And that is where the adventure begins…!
